About the Program

One Size Does Not Fit All
Making Rational Immunosuppression Decisions for the Individual Patient

Join the American Society of Transplantation over a holiday weekend in Authentic Arizona™ where state-of-the-art presentations by leading experts in solid organ transplantation will evaluate current data to prompt provocative discussions related to managing immunosuppression. What is the right drug, who is the right patient, and when is the right time?

This symposium will examine data from large clinical studies and smaller pre-clinical studies to identify results that can be properly utilized in treating individual patients. The applicability of the data often comes into question depending on the particular center, the type of patient, a special disease situation, and organ type.

This symposium will examine ways to move further forward toward our goal of improving patient outcomes by understanding the problems of applying the same therapeutic options to every patient, with relatively little individualization.

The program is designed to allow ample time for discuss the science, network with your peers, and offers down time for relaxing and enjoying the warm surroundings.
